Andrew here.
Ready to introduce you to the world!
I enjoy talking about unconscious bias, gender identity in the workplace, employee motivation, employee wellbeing, change management, onboarding, and leadership. I also excel at coaching students and colleagues 1-1 on their career growth/trajectory. My experience has centered around the education industry mostly, with additional experience in: tech, hospitality, and staffing/recruiting. All of my experience has been focused on bettering one's situations. Enough about me - I want to hear about you and start helping you get from where you are now to where you want to be next!

Coaching since...
Coaching has been a part of my life since I was in high school, and it runs in my family! I started my coaching journey as an assistant volleyball coach. Over the last 20 years I have continued to coach volleyball players both on and off the court. Much of my professional journey has involved managing direct reports. I have always taken a leader/coach approach to management, valuing the growth journey alongside those I work with. Professionally, I have been a career coach for over four years, with previous experience in recruitment and staffing. I know that coaching will be an integral part of my personal and professional journey.

If so, here's a little more about me.
I am from Webster, NY a suburb of Rochester, NY located right on Lake Ontario. Garbage Plates, Abbott's Frozen Custard, Finger Lakes Wine Country, just some of the things that make home special!
My partner and I will be getting married at my childhood summer camp in October, 2024. We are very excited to continue our journey in front of our families, both chosen and biological.
Getting the opportunity to represent the United States at the International Model UN conference during high school was an experience that greatly changed my life. It harnessed my communication and organizational skills in addition to learning and connecting with diverse people and perspectives that would not have been possible without that experience.
Volleyball has been a part of my life for nearly 20 years. Starting in high school, this sport has been a lasting social and physical outlet. I have competed across the country and represented the United States and Colorado at the Gay Games. You can catch me reffing or playing on hard court, grass, or sand across the DC metro area!
I started my academic journey as a music educator. Music continues to be a large part of my life whether it is playing the oboe or flute, signing karaoke with friends, or creating Spotify playlists for all my varied tastes.
Together we will:
Job Coaching/ Search
Let's discuss what you have currently done, assess successes and areas of opportunity, and work together on a plan that meets your needs.
Sometimes it helps to have another pair of eyes looking for jobs that fit what you are looking for. We will chat through locations/titles, etc. and we will both come to the table with jobs for you to apply to.
Diversity Training
Whether it is presenting content in a classroom or training your team, we will collaborate on what would be best for you! Discussion and learning from each other's experiences is a key component of all training/content I present. We learn and work best when we can bring our authentic selves to the conversation!
